Graphic design & brand identity

Most of our design work is for brands that already exist. Packaging, collateral, menus, wall graphics, fleet design. Built by people who know exactly what happens to the file after it leaves.

A freelancer or an agency hands over flat files. Somebody downstream then has to work out the bleed, the substrate, the separations, and where the panels break. We settle all of that while we are still drawing it. You should never have to know any of it.

The fileProduction ready

Bleed, die lines, color separations, cut paths, thread values. Set correctly the first time, because we are the ones who have to run it.

The handoffTwenty feet

That is the distance between the designer and the press operator. No email chain, no vendor guessing at your intent, no file sent back to be rebuilt.

Volume4,139 orders

Through this building in the last 12 months. Design that has to survive that many jobs learns what actually works on press.

What we design

Six kinds of
design work

Most of it is for brands that already exist and need the next thing made properly. We do identity work too, and it is good, but it is not the bulk of the day.

The difference is what happens under the file. That part should be invisible to you.

Collateral

Print & collateral

Flyers, brochures, mailers, folders, cards, banners. Built to the press it is running on, with the bleed and the color already right, so nothing gets rebuilt at the last minute.

Menus & packaging

Menus, labels, coffee bags, boxes. Designed knowing what the stock will do and what white ink can hold, which is a different job than designing for a screen.

Environmental wall graphic designed and installed for Servpro
Large scale

Environmental & vehicle

Wall murals, wayfinding, storefront graphics, and vehicle wraps. Laid out on your actual vehicle, not a generic template, so seams fall where they belong, panel breaks look deliberate, and the artwork does not get cut in half by a door handle.

Brand guidelines & systems

Color palette in Pantone, CMYK, RGB, HEX, and thread. Type system, spacing rules, and a guidelines document. Thread is the one everybody forgets, and it is why embroidery drifts.

Logos & brand identity

Custom marks with the variations you actually need: horizontal, stacked, one color, tiny. Built so it still reads at an inch wide and at forty feet.

Social & digital graphics

Post templates, campaign graphics, email headers, presentation decks. Built from the same brand system as the printed work, so the feed and the front door match.

Cells are ordered so production work leads and identity follows, because identity is real but not the bread and butter. Web design is deliberately not one of these six. Cap: "we can, if I am honest it is not a strength." Six cells should be the six strongest arguments, and a weak one costs a slot and invites comparison to a real web shop. It is answered honestly in the FAQ instead, so anyone who asks gets a yes. Brand strategy and consulting was cut outright as filler, per Cap and per the spec.

Website designed for AM-Financial
AM-Financial · Website

Twenty pieces, top of the spec range. AM-Financial replaced the Solar Eclipse poster, which had no client name on it, now that web work is being claimed with confidence. The Club Fitness website mockup is still out because the live page pairs that caption with fulfillment_pick2.jpg, which is a fulfillment photo. Fix the pairing and it can come back, which would give the web claim two pieces of evidence instead of one.

How design work goes

Four steps,
no mystery

Step one

We ask where it ends up

Substrate, size, quantity, and decoration method, before anybody opens a design file. Half the cost of a job is decided here, and most people are never asked.

Step two

We design it for that

Where the seams land on a truck. Which panel breaks read as intentional and which ones waste half a roll of vinyl. What a Pantone actually does once it becomes CMYK on coated stock, or RGB on a screen. Bleed, die lines, separations, cut paths, thread values. All of it is part of the design, not a cleanup step afterward.

Step three

You approve a proof

At real scale, on the real material where it matters. A wall graphic proofed on a photo of your wall. A wrap proofed on your truck.

Step four

It goes straight into production

No re-prep, no vendor questions, no week lost while somebody figures out what you meant. The press is down the hall and the file is already right.

In their words

Ask them, not us

"They used our logo and created a design for our promotional material. It was turnkey and very easy. You tell TPC what you want (I gave them my idea on napkin) and they give you what you want but better. Definitely use TPC!"
SEMO JamsDesign & promotional material
"The staff is always extremely helpful, kind, and excited to get to work on any project you bring to them! They produce quality pieces and address any issues or concerns just as quickly. We have gone to them for a lot of projects, and they are always great to work with!"
Tierney SaboGoogle review
"I go there quite often with ideas already in my head, and they never disappoint to being it to life. They're very good at taking direction when it comes to projects. Most importantly, this company is professional, and helpful."
Jonathan HaywardGoogle review

All three verbatim from the live page, including the typo in the third one. Do not clean it up. Edited reviews stop reading as reviews. Note that the Tierney Sabo review also appears on the live fulfillment page, and it does not mention fulfillment, so it belongs here rather than there.

Straight answers

Design FAQ

Do you print what you design?

Yes, and it is the whole reason to start here. Design, offset and digital presses, white ink, vehicle wraps, signage, merch, and a warehouse, in one building in Cape Girardeau.

An agency hands you a file and a list of shops to call. Then somebody three days later has a question about your bleed or your stock that nobody budgeted for, and it lands back on you. Here those questions get answered while the file is being built, by the people who have to run it.

I already have a brand. Can you just design the piece?

Yes, and that is most of what we do. Send your logo, your palette, and your fonts, and we design the menu, the mailer, the wall graphic, or the wrap inside the brand you already have.

If your files are a mess, which is normal, we will tell you what is missing rather than working around it quietly. The thread value is the one almost nobody has, and it is why the same logo drifts once it gets embroidered.

What files come with a logo?

.JPEG, .SVG, .PDF, and .PNG. Between them that covers a billboard and a business card, a web header and an embroidery file, so your logo works wherever it lands next.

The .SVG is the one to keep. It scales to any size without falling apart, and it is the file a good production shop will ask you for first.

What is in a logo and branding package?

A custom logo with its variations, a color palette in Pantone, CMYK, RGB, HEX, and thread, font choices, merch mockups, and a brand guidelines document so it stays consistent after we hand it over.

First proof lands within five business days of the creative brief. Revisions add time on top of that, depending on how fast feedback comes back to us.

What if I do not like any of them?

You get three concepts to choose from and three rounds of revisions on the one you pick. That is written into how we work, not something you negotiate halfway through.

If all three concepts miss, the brief was wrong, and that is a conversation rather than a bill.

Do you build websites?

Yes. We do not advertise it much, but we build them and we are set up for it.

Where it pays off is consistency. The same team that built your brand system builds the site, so your color, type, and logo behave the same on a screen as they do on a menu, a storefront, and a truck. Ask and we will show you what we have done.

Reordered so production questions come first and identity questions follow, matching where the actual work is. Every fact from the live FAQ survived: 3 concepts, 3 revision rounds, first proof in 5 business days, .JPEG .SVG .PDF .PNG, and the full palette list including thread. The voice was rewritten because the live versions run on "the whole shebang" and "design wizards," which the brief bans. Two questions are new: the existing-brand one, which is now the bulk of the business, and the websites one, which uses Cap's own framing.

AWARDS: the live page claims "Award-Winning" with no award named, and that claim is not carried over here. tpc has won an Addy but has not submitted in several years. If you want it on the page, give me the year and the category and it goes in as one specific line, which is worth more than the generic claim ever was.

Design is where most clients start. Then it goes on paper, on walls, on trucks, on shirts, and onto our shelves.

What does your brand look like the first time somebody sees it?

New mark or the next piece for a brand you already have. Either way, the file gets built for what it is about to become, and then we build the thing.
